Trails.Wandering.FauxLeather.

I still can't believe how peaceful and beautiful it is here in Queenstown. Everywhere you look is just creation explosion. No matter where you are or where you look there is nature encompassing you. Mountains, lakes, forests more mountains and more mountains.

BEFORE I FORGET, I went on a Ziptrek eco tour on Saturday and it was easily the best thing i've ever done! It's like doing a flying fox only better! You're high up in the forest and get to see different perspectives of Queenstown! The last zipline is the steepest in the world! I highly recommend it if you're looking for something to do in Queenstown. It is the adventure capital for a reason! If you have any questions about it just ask! Oh and I think there are 2 other ones but they are in Canada :)

Funnily enough this outfit contained all the same brands as the last post, how ironic! The plaid crop which I think is perfect for a little Christmas number is from Valley Girl. The high-waisted skirt is from Glassons, shoes form Rubi shoes, cap from Kmart and Jacket from Glassons a long time ago. And of course my trusty watch from Fossil.

Today i'm just packing, going out for lunch and then jumping on a plane ;( Don't want to go home!

Hope you have a relaxing day today!!

Love always,

Pottering around the marvel that is Queenstown!

Today was a great day exploring different scenic locations, we went to the Amisfield winery for a lovely lunch and then drove off to the lake and forest in Kelvin Heights. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer lakes, mountains and forests to beaches. I also like being tucked up away in a house away from everyone else which is weird considering i'm such an extrovert but I do appreciate peace and stillness to recharge my energetic, lively self.

I really wanted to share this outfit with you guys because I was so stoked with how comfortable I was in the indecisive weather that took place today. One minute it's hot next minute there's a slight fresh breeze. It was also a fun outfit that incorporates it's self into any of your daily adventures like it did for mine. From one place to another...

What did you do today and what is your favourite place either where you live or any where in the world that you love to explore? :)

Im in love with these pants! I always find highwaisted pants hard to wear, I think because I'm an awkward length haha but these are so comfy both standing and sitting. Ive been loving the tropical print theme that's been making an appearance everywhere lately!

You can find these pants at Glassons and they even have very similar ones that are in capri form too with cute little zips by the ankles, where as these ones are harem pants with splits by the ankles.

The crop top is also from Glassons and you can find it here, it was 2 for $20 so I bought a white one along with this grey one. I really like grey in crops and I love crops with high waisted things.  I normally hate halter type tops because they always feel sore at the back of my neck and they usually just look weird (to me anyway) but these ones were too cute!

My sandals are from Kmart woohoo ;) pretty casual but cute sandals that with go anything! I'm quite enjoying shoes in white, it's so fresh and clean.. until they get dirty -.-

The cardigan is from Valley Girl I believe and it is SO pretty I love it! I love anything that looks like leather especially when it's mixed with other fabrics and have I mentioned I love maroon/plum colours?? I always wear a plumberry lipstick it is my staple lip colour!

Also this handbag that I got for my birthday it's spot on! It's so pretty and I like the chaining on it, like a cute little Chanel bag.. but not ;P

My watch is from Fossil.

Have you noticed the sunglasses and how I wore them in my last post. I love them, (lol is there anything I don't love?*) I love the colour and shape.  Some people think they look like mosquito eyes hahaha but I couldn't care less! #i'mgoingtowearthemanyway They are from Rubi shoes/cotton on I think!

I forgot to mention, you can chuck on some heels and you've got a super night time outfit or just an even more glammed day one :)

Just curious, what are your fave songs/bands at the moment?? I'm LOVING the 1975 which I am currently listening to as I write this.. when am I not listening to them? Hehe.

*looking at the amount of times the word love comes up in the post, I guess not!

If you want to see some of my adventure/outfits when I was in Queenstown in winter then you can take a look here .

Anyway, I hope you all have a good evening or day wherever you may be!

Love always,

My Beautiful Country

New Zealand has an immense amount of really pretty places and one of my most favourite is Queenstown in the South Island.

Queenstown has this crispy clean air that you definitely don't get in Auckland. When Auckland is cold it's uncomfortable but when Queenstown is cold it's refreshing. When Auckland is humid Queenstown is not!! No mugginess!! Ah bliss! When my hair smells like exhaust fumes in Auckland from walking around, in Queenstown... well I think you get the picture ;) And speaking of pictures it really is an exquisite place, it looks like someone paints the scenery everyday. Low flying cloud among the mountains and the gleaming lakes. It feels kinda strange you're at the supermarket and oh look its nestled into the mountains... what?? You definitely don't get that kind of everyday scenery in Auckland that's for sure!

So if you can't tell already, I went to Queenstown a couple of weeks ago and this was not my first time but my fourth!! Yup I really do love this place and it contains some pretty cool people too! So here are a few snaps of my recent trip...

Arrowtown - A cute historic town about 15 or 20 minutes from Queenstown. It is known for its gold panning days and you can still try this out yourself!

The Remarkables! One of the many awesome mountains in the area! There is also Coronet Peak and Cardrona which are great for snowboarding and skiing too. Just started learning to Snowboard and I love it!

Queenstown has its attractions like the Ice Bar! Fun times were had! For those of you that enjoy bungee jumping and parachuting and things like that, Queenstown is definitely for you because, after all, it is the adventure capital of New Zealand! But for those of you who aren't quite into those adrenaline rushes you have so many amazing restaurants, cafe, lakes, shops, wineries and other fun activities all around :)

A delicious hunters pie with a green juice at Jack's Point

Hope you will have the opportunity to visit Queenstown one day it's definitely a lovely experience and a great adventure!

Hope you all have a wonderful week wherever in the world you may be and remember to comment me some questions/ideas you'd like on this blog because then i'll be sure to update it more regularly than  have been.. oopsies ;)

Love always,
